Duplicate Labels: Second copies of all compiled lists and some mail-responsive lists are available at one half the cost of the original list.
Use of Lists: Lists are sold for one time use. ALC does offer reduced rates for multiple uses. Many files are available for unlimited use for one year at an additional cost. Please inquire.
Minimum Orders The minimum order is $250 plus selection charges. Proprietary lists have varying minimum order quantity requirements. Please inquire.
Payment: Accounts may be opened for firms that have a satisfactory D&B rating or good standing credit with American List Counsel. Payment terms for these accounts are Net 30 Days from date of invoice. We request that payment accompany first time orders from new clients. ALC accepts Visa, Mastercard and American Express. New Jersey based businesses add 6% sales tax.
Returns/Cancellations: List orders are not subject to return or exchange. Orders that are canceled, will be charged a reduced fee for work accomplished prior to cancellation.
Commissions on Compiled Lists: Recognized List Brokers receive 20% commission on all lists featured in sections 1, 2 and 3 of our catalog. Recognized Advertising Agencies, MASA lettershops and Direct Marketing Consultants receive 15% commission.

Electronic Transfer of Data (e-mail, bulletin board, FTP): The wave of the future! Clean and speedy transmission of data elements across the Internet to your PC. Available on many lists and in many formats. Prices vary; please inquire.
Diskette: a 3 ½" IBM-compatible floppy disk, perfect for the small PC based business! Use the data in conjunction with a variety of home/office software to generate mailing labels, sheet listings or personalized letters. Available on many lists and in many formats. Prices vary, please inquire.
Pressure Sensitive ("Peel and Stick") Labels: The best label for small mail runs or in-house mailings, P/S labels can either be hand or machine fixed. Dimensions: 3.2" X .92", produced "4-across" on continuous sheets. $7.50/thousand names.
Cheshire Labels: The lettership standard - cheshire labels may only be affixed by machine. Dimensions: 3.44" X 1", produced "4-across" on continuous sheets. No additional charge.
Sheet Listing/Galley Sheet: This is the perfect format for telemarketing/internal office use or telemarketing follow-up to a mailing: one record per line, approximately 50 lines per page. Prices vary; please inquire.
Index Cards: Use these cards for distribution of leads/prospects to sales offices or to dealers for telephone sales. Dimensions: 3" X5", one name/address to a card. Price: $25/thousand names.
Magnetic Tape: A 9 track, 1600 or 6250 bit-per-inch ("BPI") reel-to-reel tape, this format is widely used by lettershops and data houses for data transfers, merge/purges and file suppressions. Available in EBCDIC or ASCII format. Price: $25/flat charge per tape (non-refundable).
Guarantee of Deliverability: Deliverability on any compiled list is guaranteed to be at least 93%, although we cannot guarantee the accuracy of phone or fax numbers. We will refund the Standard A postage rate equivalent, for any returned mail in excess of 7% of the total number of names provided, if received by ALC within 60 days of invoice date. Mailing lists cannot be returned or exchanged after delivery. Naturally, we cannot guarantee the outcome of your mailing. In no event shall our liability exceed the cost of the mailing list.
