PRINCETON, NJ – MARCH 17, 2017 – Since 1971, Help Heal Veterans (HHV) has touched the lives of millions of injured servicemen and women, by providing over 29 million therapeutic arts and crafts kits free of charge.
Today, they have announced a partnership with ALC, Inc. (www.alc.com), industry leader in data-driven marketing, to help expand their reach and continue their mission of rehabilitation and relief for injured U.S. veterans.
Formerly named “Help Hospitalized Veterans”, the nonprofit was first established during the Vietnam War and recently underwent an extensive rebranding effort to emphasize the increasing number of veterans who receive treatment outside of hospitals. In addition to the new name, HHV also updated its website and unveiled a new logo that symbolizes the hands-on nature of their unique therapeutic craft kits, which help to improve the motor skills, cognitive functioning and dexterity of injured vets, while increasing self-esteem and fostering creativity.
ALC assumed all Data Management roles for HHV and the HHV Sweeps program, effective March 15th. Data Acquisition has also been working with the organization, leveraging ALC’s proprietary tools and deep analytics to develop a strategic marketing plan. “We are excited to be working closely with Help Heal Veterans in a data monetization and list brokerage capacity, where we will utilize a proprietary acquisition and data monetization platform, analyze revenue opportunities and maximize the value of their data,” said Marianne Hammer, SVP Data Management.
With the help of ALC, Help Heal Veterans hopes to expand their community of patriotic, conservative individuals who have a deep concern for veterans.
“Updating our identity has everything to do with the future work of our mission – helping all veterans, and not just those in hospitals,” said U.S. Navy Captain (Ret.) Joe McClain, CEO of HHV in a statement posted on the organization’s website. “By updating our name and logo, we are re-focusing our efforts and re-committing our organization to the mission of helping any veteran and military member in need. The name ‘Help Heal Veterans’ reflects the modern reality of the work we do.”
